Busy busy

SOLD
OK firstly apologises for the website looking so depleted I had a mammoth party last night (Thank you Jan and Rosie!!) a fabulous bunch of ladies who filled the house with laughter, and they loved my jewellery too! Many pieces have now gone to new homes so I will be extemly busy for the next two weeks I think before the next party starts!!

The weather is still beautiful here in Cornwall - I wonder by buying my new Ugg boots I've set a jinx on the weather - so of course everyone needs to thank me for the sunshine ;0)

Its been so nice to actually still be able to put Elli in her summer dresses - she loves being girly!

OK back to it - and I promise to start showing you new pieces asap

The Morning After!

SOLD
Hey a great party last night - thanks Helen! So many ladies with tiny wrists though lol so a little resizing to do this week! I never get to sleep very quickly after a party - adrenelin I think and thoughts of designing etc floating through my head!

The piece above is from my pebble range with beads by Isabelle Anderson aren't they cute?

Sorry the post is short and sweet - I have made a pair of earrings which I will photograph tomorrow and you never know there may be more....

We took Elli on her new bike on the trail today - a bike trail only 1 1/2 miles (well 3 if you count the way back I suppose!) We stopped at the end for ice cream and then Elli cycled back while E and I chatted. It was so peaceful and Elli did so well as her new bike is still a bit big for her but she loved it so it will probably be a regular occurance now!

Oh and I thought I'd finish with a pic of Tintagel Castle

Bodmin Gaol

SOLD

Today with my Mum and niece and nephew, Elli and I took a trip to Bodmin Gaol -wow what a place and not far from where we live and I can't believe we haven't been there before!! Anyone who lives nearby take a trip!! We bought a book on the history but as you wander around there is loads of information on the inmates - children transported for putting stones on the railway line etc! Think we are way to soft now lol....

The necklace Moonlit Walk is my take on a Moonlit Walk on the beach - when the moon is clear and bright lighting up certain stones and pebbles on your way. Strung on Greek leather with an adjustable clasp.

Hope you like it?

Hearing Voices

Now before everyone tell me to take my meds its my own voice I can hear - I was wondering whether anyone else writes their blogs in their heads as they are performing everyday tasks - like cleaning the toilet???? YOu should hear me sometimes I don't half go on - yet I can applaud myself for great wording etc but then sadly (or not!) I forget my great writings before I even have thought about typing/writing them out so sadly you are all missing out on my words of wisdom!! (which I'm sure they aren't really before anyone becomes sad and depressed at my lack of organisation in writing everything down as I'm thinking) . Funny thing is I never forget a flash of inspiration when it comes to my jewellery - I had this conversation yesterday about keeping a book by the side of my bed when those flashes come - but so far (touch wood) I haven't needed one - all my designs seem to stick in a little drawer in my head like a huge filing cabinet! ;0)

Pentreath my latest pebble piece is named after Pentreath beach nr Penzance (Of course I have to name them after Cornish beaches!!) Isabelles Sectacular beads complimented by silver (Lots of!!) I feel like a framer when I recieve beautiful lampwork beads - I have to show them off to their very best and it can be nerve racking at times. Hopefully I did these beautiful pebbles justice.
