Remote viewing video

If I did get you curious about remote viewing, at this link you will find a very good intro video on what remote viewing actually is, and also a small demonstration done by one of the remote viewing 'fathers', Joseph McMoneagle. It was filmed at his home. Highly recommended.

On spirituality again

I haven't written on spirituality for quite a while now. Making jewelry took all my energy away from anything else but making jewelry. I even stopped meditating for months now. I think this is why I craved reading about 'paranormal reality' again.

About a week ago I read a book called Psychic Warrior by David Morehouse, an army officer, and his story on how he took part in a remote viewing program and lived to tell about it.
The book reads fast and the story is very interesting, so I got intrigued by remote viewing.
Usually when people talk about paranormal (and who knows me, knows I don't shy talking about it), they are shot down fast as it's all bla bla, silly things, not explainable and not true. Not real, anyway. However remote viewing is real, is scientifically proven, heck the US and Russian governments used it as well, how more real than that can it get?
Basically remote viewing is about being able to view or access information about objects, places, people, feelings while originally not knowing anything about the target. You will get only some numbers (either by a second person, or can be computer generated), and blindly you try to get as much info as you can. Once you finished writing down (or drawing) your impressions, you find out what the target was. This is different from 'regular' psychic work, as there you know in advance what you want to get info on. This way though, you are working completely blindly. No bias (prior knowledge, impressions, thoughts, etc) about the target gets in the way at all. You have no clue what you're trying to describe: is it a building, is it a ship on the sea, is it a person, is it the Eiffel Tower?

I never realised that there is so much material about it on the internet, for free. Even manuals, and downloadable audio tutorials.
I tried my hands at a quick intro exercise at DoJo PSI, and the results were quite interesting. Must be beginner's luck though, as the next attempt was a total failure. And the third one was quite interesting again. Although the drawing I made of the target was totally off, the description words I wrote down (cold, green plain, cave entrance, constricted feeling, ceiling, dark) were a good match for what I then saw on the picture: the entrance to the underground (metro). Nice green grass and a tree and in the middle, and then the metro entrance, which was indeed looking like the entrance to a cave! Dark, narrow, low ceiling. Got shivers over this one!

Earrings galore

SOLD
I have been busy making earrings - they seem to be flying out as fast as I can make them sotodays beautys are all gemstones -" All that glitters" are beautiful Ametrine with amethyst and citrine - as you can see there are a few inclusions but I think it adds to the beauty - I'm not into perfection with my stones - I'm a more organic person but these beautys so caught my eye.

Then I made another pair with Smokey Quartz and Rose Quartz which are very posh for me but I'm so pleased for them although I had aching hands when I'd finished!! The gemstones are amazing not sure my pics show them off that well?

Thank goodness Friday is here and I can lie in tomorrow - getting up early is not my thing and luckily I have a child who likes her bed!! A glass of wine tonight or shall Imake that a G&T - first week back at school and all that ;0)

View from a Satellite

SOLD
I've had these stunning beads by Isabelle for a couple of weeks now and I loved them so much I couldn't bring myself to make anything - I knew what to do with them but it was only yesterday when I counted up my bead sets and realised I have a bead addiction I knew it was time to make something else ;0)

My lovely friend Clare thought I should call this set Google Earth but I wasn't sure and then I realised this is the sort of sights someone in a satellite station would see - now someone is going to tell me no one lives in satellites - if so can we pretend....

I'm still busy creating here - I've made many sales and the website is looking a little threadbare so as I have a party in 8 days time ...... Luckily I bought another set of beads last night lol just to make up the set I've just used - I'm only joking (I think!!)

Byzantine flower...garden

I was playing around with the Byzantine weave, trying to follow a tutorial and getting nowhere, so I turned it around and made something completely different. Then I just continued until I got the bracelet length.
I quite like it, it's fun and fluffy on my wrist. On a jewelry forum somebody told me it looks like a flower garden, so there, this is the name I gave it :)

The Sparkle of Swarovski

For the longest time, I wouldn't use Swarovski crystals in my jewelry. I wanted the jewelry to be pure gemstone jewelry with only sterling or gold - I didn't use lampwork beads either. I soon learned what I was missing! Now my only quandary is how much mixing to do with Swarovski. Do I want to add lampwork beads? Pure Swarovski? Should I add some gemstones? And with the addition of the new Graphic, Helix, Cosmic, and other special beads in the very large sizes, Swarovski is more fun to work with than ever.
The first bracelet is one of my favourites: aquamarine, golden shadow, light amethyst, and alexandrite reflect the colours in the two small lampwork beads by Lynn Nurge. These beads have all the colours of an Austrian opal and a certain iridescence also. The Swarovski bracelet is assymetrical as are many of the bracelets I make from a variety of materials.
I stuck with the large Graphic and Cosmic crystals in the bracelet below. The Indicolite Swarovski crystals are accented only by sterling silver Bali beads. The bracelet is nice and chunky and sparkling, and those are good things! Plus, the colour of Indicolite is one of the most mysterious dark turquoise blues I've ever seen.
The last bracelet below is made of Caribbean Blue Opal Swarovski crystals (AB); once again I've only added sterling silver - delicious large filigree beads from the Thai Karen Hill Tribes as well as the neatest ring beads, about 8mm in diameter, that are also wide with some imprinting on them.
You'll be able to find these bracelets and others on the Cluny Grey Jewelry site on the Swarovski Crystal Bracelets page.

Pond Life!

SOLD
These cute little earrings have lilypad like flowers on them (well I can see them anyway!!) and I actually dreamt what to do with them! (and the name) do you think someone was having a laugh ;)

The pretty flowers actually look like lilypads hence the name and like the earrings I added some prehinite to the centre. This bracelet took me forever to finish as I wanted her to become a necklace so she fought and won - am I loosing my mind!! If you think I am then blame Hannah @ kutuu she asked me today how many lampwork sets I have (those I haven't created with yet) I counted eeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! You surely don't expect me to tell you that .......;0)

Last day of Freedom!!

SOLD

Last day before school starts - I love having Elli home with me - I love the freedom of time, I love the laughter from the garden when her friends come over to play, the bouncing of her floorboards when they dance to the music played in her bedroom, I love watching her learn and grown from bikes without stabilisers and riding the trail. Most of all I love time spent with my daughter !

SOLD

As you can see I have been making earrings - I sold a fair few this weekend and four last week so it was time to get making some more! I love making earrings especially after a morning like I've had! I've been creating a piece in my head since the lampwork arrived but what ever I did with it, for some reason or another, wouldn't work - I've wasted so much sterling silver wire you wouldn't believe ( although my scrap pot is a bottomless pit!!) But never mind my latest piece (yes its finished and yes I'll show you tomorrow!!)

SOLD
I think my muse has gone on holiday - I wonder where she has gone - somewhere exotic I hope I mean it would be a bit of a waste if she'd only gone to Newquay!!! So where would I like to visit *Jo scratched head, Mauritious, St Lucia, Antigua, somewhere where the sea is not only warm but clear and blue with golden sands......

LibraryThing

I must have been the last person on Earth who still didn't have a shelf yet! Now thanks to my friend Alex, I'm not an outcast anymore, lol!
I've decided to add all my jewelry making books (and possibly magazines) to my LT shelf, so I have an easy overview of what all books I have at home. I tend to buy a lot of these types of books and I really want to avoid buying duplicates!
For all other types of books I still have my Bookcrossing shelf. Those books, however, have a BCID sticker or a number written on the first page for tracking purposes, and I don't really want to mark the jewelry books. Hence the LT way of categorizing them.
I've added a small widget on the right-handside of my blog, below my Etsy shop, with random pictures of books I have on my shelf. I've only started adding books, so it's still a relatively small library :)
Also as per Alex's idea, this gives you a glimpse into what types of books I'm using for reference when learning to make jewelry, such as beading, chainmail or wire wrapping.

The Morning After!

SOLD
Hey a great party last night - thanks Helen! So many ladies with tiny wrists though lol so a little resizing to do this week! I never get to sleep very quickly after a party - adrenelin I think and thoughts of designing etc floating through my head!

The piece above is from my pebble range with beads by Isabelle Anderson aren't they cute?

Sorry the post is short and sweet - I have made a pair of earrings which I will photograph tomorrow and you never know there may be more....

We took Elli on her new bike on the trail today - a bike trail only 1 1/2 miles (well 3 if you count the way back I suppose!) We stopped at the end for ice cream and then Elli cycled back while E and I chatted. It was so peaceful and Elli did so well as her new bike is still a bit big for her but she loved it so it will probably be a regular occurance now!

Oh and I thought I'd finish with a pic of Tintagel Castle
